About the event

This seminar will go deeper than we have before into how to help dogs showing signs of fear, anxiety and aggression. We are covering how to identify when your dog may be feeling afraid or anxious by going into body language in depth. Additionally we want to give you the information you need to best help your fearful/anxious/aggressive dog live a high quality low stress life by covering management, treatment and prevention.

Presented by Beyond the Bark's Mike Baughman, CBCC-KA and co-written by Chelsea Campbell, CDPT-KA

About the presenter:

Mike is a Certified Behavior Consultant through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers and our lead trainer. Mike has vast experience training everything from basic obedience to severe fear, aggression and anxiety cases for over 6 years. He got his start training under his mentor and teaching obedience classes ranging from basic to advanced. Mike became fascinated with how dogs learn and what causes behavior. This is when he got into behavior modification and started taking on more challenging cases. Since then Mike’s passion is to empower dogs to reduce fear, anxiety, frustration and aggression which he does through in-home private training and instructing group courses.

Mike also has a strong drive to educate dog owners and dog industry professionals about dog behavior and body language. He presents Beyond the Bark’s public and private lectures and is happy to take on any public education project. Mike oversees the continued training and continuing education of all of our staff. He is also committed to his own education and stays up to date on the most current science through continuing education.
